Visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center is a full day event…for the entire family. Guided tours are available, and the earlier you book, the better your seats will be for the Night Show. Kids will love getting ink tattoos, ukulele lessons and fishing experiences in the villages. Wheelchairs and strollers can be rented at the centre. Complimentary canoe rides and an IMAX movie are included in all of their all-day packages.

“I really enjoyed my stay at the Makaha Resort. The grounds were full of plumeria trees and other local plants. The atmosphere was very casual. You did have to walk a ways to your room from the parking lot but they did provide rides per golf cart attendants. The staff was very friendly and the room was large and very comfortable. I would go back in a heart beat and recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist route. It is quite a ways from Waikiki but this is what I wanted and wasn’t disappointed!“
